Certification

Applicable certification schemes used by the certification body and their justification:

• Scheme 1C (Serial Production):
  • Justification: suitable for the serial production of electrical equipment (sockets, cables), polymer products (packaging films), and mechanical engineering products. Applicants may be manufacturers, which corresponds to mass production.
  • Example: Serial production of products for the domestic market.
• Scheme 3C (Consignment of Goods):
  • Justification: Ideal for consignments of imported products where the applicants are sellers or importers.
  • Example: A consignment of imported products.

The product certification body applies certification schemes 1C and 3C, which makes it possible to cover all major forms of conformity assessment—for serial products, consignments, products manufactured using a quality management system, as well as single items.

Scheme 1C is applied to the certification of serial products (for example, meat and dairy products, confectionery products, and beverages);

Scheme 3C — for the certification of consignments of products, including imported perfumery and cosmetic products and household chemicals. Certification under this scheme may be performed before the products are imported into the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The use of these schemes complies with the requirements of the national conformity assessment system and provides flexibility in selecting a certification approach depending on the type of product, form of supply, and production process.
